- Identification via one-time code — With AES, the signer receives a 6-digit code by SMS or email before signing. Channel, timestamp and masked recipient are recorded in the audit trail and the PDF.
- Sealing with a timestamp — After the final signature, a SHA-256 checksum of the PDF is calculated and linked to an RFC 3161 timestamp from an independent timestamping authority — applied once and never overwritable.
