Refund Policy

Purchases of E-Signing.io are governed by the refund policy of our reseller Paddle. This page summarises the rights you have and how to request a refund.

Last updated: August 2026 · Version 3.0

This is a convenience translation. The German version is legally binding. See the German original.

1. Seller and payment processing

Your contracting party and the provider of the subscription is:

EINSZWEIDREI SOLUTIONS UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Hochstraße 2
56242 Ellenhausen
Deutschland

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply in addition to this page.

2. General principle

Refunds are governed by Paddle's Refund Policy. This page summarises that policy and does not restrict it. We do not add any conditions of our own; if anything here differs from Paddle's policy, Paddle's policy prevails. Mandatory consumer rights always remain unaffected — where local law grants stronger rights, the highest level of protection applies.

3. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers (14 days)

Consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded (§ 355 German Civil Code). The right applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment under a subscription. If a free trial period ends, a new fourteen-day period starts with the first paid transaction.

A clear statement in text form is sufficient, for example an email to kontakt@e-signing.io or a letter to the address above; you can also submit the request directly to Paddle (section 7). Sending the notice before the deadline expires is enough to meet it. Following an effective withdrawal, payments already made are refunded without undue delay and within fourteen days of receipt or approval of the request, using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Refunds are processed by Paddle.

Model withdrawal form

"I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: E-Signing.io subscription. Ordered on (*). Name of consumer(s). Address of consumer(s). Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper). Date. (*) Delete as appropriate."

4. Discretionary refunds

Independently of statutory rights, Paddle may issue a refund at its own discretion where the request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Every request is reviewed case by case and may be approved in full, approved partially, or declined. We actively support such requests — just contact us and we will back your refund request with Paddle.

5. Defects and technical issues

If the platform does not work as described or a defect prevents you from using it, please contact us first at kontakt@e-signing.io. If the issue cannot be resolved, you can pass the details on to Paddle support; where there is evidence of a material defect, Paddle issues a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time without giving reasons, effective at the end of the current period — via the cancellation button under Settings → Billing (§ 312k BGB) or in Paddle's buyer portal. After cancelling, access remains available until the end of the period you already paid for and no further payments are taken. Cancelling is not the same as requesting a refund — if you would like a refund, follow section 7.

7. How to request a refund

Refunds are requested directly from Paddle: use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation, or the buyer portal at paddle.net using the email address of the purchase and the invoice number. Alternatively, send a message in text form to kontakt@e-signing.io with your invoice number and purchase date, and we will arrange the refund for you. Once a refund is issued, access to the paid plan ends.

8. Related documents

Our Terms of Service (in particular section 4a on payment processing and section 9 on withdrawal) and our Privacy Notice apply in addition. The German version of this policy is legally binding.
